MBC Upcoming Meetings and Events

The Milllbury Bicentennial Committee has announced the dates for the revolutionary war reenactment weekend. The dates are October 20-21, 2012. More details to come. It promises to be an amazing event. Check back soon.

The Millbury Bicentennial Committee is offering three sets of commemorative coins to mark the town’s upcoming 200th anniversary.

A silver two-coin set will be sold in limited quantities for $40, and includes the 1976 Town of Millbury U.S. Bicentennial coin in sterling silver and the newly designed Millbury Bicentennial coin in nickel with an antique silver finish.  The same two-coin set in a bronze finish is $30. A single Millbury Bicentennial coin minted in pure silver is currently $75, subject to fluctuation in silver prices. Each comes in a leather presentation box suitable for display. Proceeds will help fund the town’s bicentennial events planned for 2012 to 2013.

Coins can be purchased at Millbury Savings Bank’s Elm Street office and the Millbury branches of Millbury Federal Credit Union, Millbury National Bank, and Fidelity Bank.
